We hear epics from the treasury of the world history full of Heroes, Gods, Monsters and Superheroes. One epic stands out from all them, as it traverses from the realm of epics to reality. Not only was it a true legend but it was also written by a great Legend, the great Vanara Lord God Hanuman himself! He adorned the stone slabs with words carved by his bare hands, much before Valmiki the great author and codifier of this legend thousands of years ago. Such is the grandiosity of this story.
A legend twice the size of Iliad & odyssey, an epic filled with action , adventure, family, politics, betrayal and spirituality but most of all it is an epitome of “Love” immortalised in time and the cosmos – ‘Brahmaand’.
“Ramayana”.
Shri Ram built this legendary bridge along with his mighty Vanarsena ,an armada of animals and his very loyal brother Lakshman. They crossed this bridge and fought a huge army lead by an evil, narcissistic and incredibly powerful King- fighting against a juggernaut of Rakshashas, Yakshas, Yakshis, shapeshifters and weapons of mass destruction! Along with all this furore, he was still able to focus on unleashing the greatest weapon of mass destruction in the world ‘The Brahmastra(Nuclear Weapon)’ on Ravana and his army, and subsequently saving his wife, Sita from that living hell!
