Dashaavatar (Volume 1), true to its name, is the first volume of a comic series that is centered on the ten avatars donned by Lord Vishnu to fight evil. Many Indian puranas state that Hindu deities often set foot in the mortal world through incarnations to preserve Dharma and maintain harmony. Dashaavatar (Volume 1) covers the ten incarnations adopted by Lord Vishnu, who is regarded as the ‘Protector’ of the Universe in Hinduism. The book covers the story behind each incarnation and briefs the readers on how these avatars have successfully helped in guarding sacred writings from falling into the wrong hands, time and again.
